Josyp Terelya - My Hero and Intercessor

February 27, 1995.

I was praying in the chapel of the Ukrainian Cruise Ship Gruzia. A group of 180 Catholics of Canada and the United States were on a cruise to Honduras, Belize and Mexico. We had a special mission, though not all the pilgrims knew it. Around 12:10 p.m. from February 27 on to the 28th, during prayer, the Mother of God appeared to me in the company of the Angel of America. All this lasted one minute.

The Mother of God:

Our Son, may your prayers be filled with the Holy Spirit and your hearts with faith and the fortitude of spirit. Yours is an unusual pilgrimage. For this is in God’s plans; the Lord forgets no one, not even sinners.

Our Son, I tell you that every spiritual brother should be truly a brother to others. This ideal is the foundation on which the Church stands. The Lord has placed in all your hearts a dream about an ideal brotherhood. Good gives birth to good, and evil is punished by evil. You see this in the example of Russia. America has been assigned a great mission not only in the life of its own people but also in the life of all the nations of the earth. Cain destroyed this brotherhood in the lord and from that time sin has nested itself before the doors of human hearts. My only begotten Son was sent to earth that this universal brotherhood might become reality in Christ. I shall come here, on this boat, to distribute graces of the Holy Spirit to all who are in need: the cripples, the weak, those who need prayer and peace and comfort. It is through the purification of America that unity shall be achieved. Following the example of America more countries will begin their work to establish the brotherhood of spiritual Christians. Amen.

Josyp Terelya, a prisoner of Soviet prisons and labor camps for 22 years.
